How we make this website usable for everyone, and how to tell us when it is not.
Our commitment
Encompass Biologics wants everyone who visits this website, including people who use screen readers, magnification, voice control or a keyboard alone, to be able to find product information, locate a doctor and contact us.
The standard we follow
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We test each release with automated accessibility checks, contrast measurements and reviews at phone, tablet and desktop sizes.
What we have done
Measures in place on this website include:
- A link to skip straight to the main content, and a visible focus outline for keyboard users.
- Text alternatives for informative images, with AI-generated placeholder images labelled as such.
- Text and background colours chosen to meet the WCAG contrast ratios.
- Animations that respect the reduced-motion setting on your device.
- Forms with labelled fields and error messages that explain what to fix.
Known limitations
Some documents supplied by manufacturers, such as product brochures and studies, may not be fully accessible. If you need one of them in another format, ask us and we will help.
